Contains 23 vitamins, minerals and supplements including:
Folic Acid : Each recommended daily dose (2 caplets) includes 1 mg of folic acid which helps to prevent neural tube defects when taken prior to becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy.
Iron: Higher levels of iron to support red blood cell formulation and to prevent iron anemia. Especially important during pregnancy when there is an increase in maternal red blood cell mass to supply the growing fetus and placenta.
Beta Carotene: Vitamin A is essential for proper development of the baby, however too much Vitamin A has been linked to birth defects. Swiss Total One® Maternity contains only Beta Carotene (a source of Vitamin A) which has not been linked to birth defects.
To support optimal prenatal and postpartum health Each recommended daily dose (2 caplets) includes 1 mg of folic acid which helps to prevent neural tube defects when taken prior to becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy.
Adults: Take 1 caplet twice daily with food or as directed by healthcare practitioner. Avoid using 2 hours prior to or until 4 hours after taking other medications.
